Port Vila scenes

hello again. I can't believe three months has passed since my last blog. Where does the time go? I've been busy as usual. I've been to see horses running very fast on the grass. I went with my mum and dad but there were really lots of people there. My dad says its a once a year charity event in Port Vila. It was a great fun day. I really liked seeing all the horses in the paddocks. This is me with my mum and dad...

I also went to see the Vanuatu Independence Day celebrations on Monday 30th July. There were lots of people there too and lots of soldiers marching up and down in front of the President. I wanted to march with the soldiers but my mum wouldn't let me. Maybe next year when I'm bigger.

I love to play on the swing by the waterfront in town. There is also a big slide and a see-saw, but the swing is my favourite. I can go really high now, almost up to the clouds.

I like going into the Port Vila town some days. Sometimes all the noisy cars frighten me, but there are some nice things too. Like this old tree trunk along the roadside. A very talented person has carved lots of sea creatures into the wood. Its really great - lots of turtles and other things and a big fish tail at the top.

I like going to the Post Office too.

There is a big colourful painting on the wall outside. I really like to paint too, so I like this a lot.

Thats all for now. Will blog again soon I promise.....
